Has anyone here experience with Clenbuterol? We consider starting our little boy on this - a doctor here is convinced that it can delay the disease as good or even better as deflazacort/prednisone does but with no serious side effects.....

I remember hearing about using albuterol in boys with Duchenne, but I believe the outcome was not equal to deflazacort/prednisone.

Thanks laurie. I found some reports saying further trials need to be done. This was in 2007/2008 but it seems no more research was done ?!?

That timeline sounds about right. Sam was diagnosed and started steroids in 2005. I remember hoping there was going to be something else. I can't recall hearing anything further.
