Calling all caregivers! The life altering changes Duchenne puts on our boys is immense, but it’s grasp reaches out beyond to the caregivers. You seamlessly step in to care for your child, sacrificing your own physical and emotional needs and placing them on the back burner.
Join us as we discuss how to take a healthy approach to nutrition, exercise, and overall wellness while still being an amazing caregiver. We will discuss the pitfalls to lack of self-care and tips on how to implement life style changes that are easily integrated into your already very busy lives. We will be joined by fellow Duchenne mom, Jennifer Garofalo, to discuss how self-care has changed her approach to living with a Duchenne diagnosis.
Be kind to yourself and take one hour to explore options to restore energy and enjoy each moment life gives us.
