DENVER ART MUSEUM - SATURDAY, MARCH 30
FREE - OPEN TO ALL AGES
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
SIGN UP & LEARN TO PAINT!
This special event has been organized in conjunction with The Denver Art Museum, Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, and several artists from the Denver metro area. This five-hour engagement includes a brief introduction to art history, a skills workshop, and hands-on painting instruction for your child from some of Denver’s most energetic artists.
Our mission is to provide a rewarding experience to families affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy by offering a fun introduction to the world of oil painting. We hope to foster your child’s curiosity for creativity and inspire each to utilize art as a meaningful part of everyday life.
Each child will recieve professional instruction tailored to his/her abilities and interests. Painting kits and canvasses will be provided at the class and given to participants to take home after the event. Bag lunches for children and family members will also be included. We hope you can join
us for this fun and inspirational day!
Our class is limited to the first 15 participants who sign up for the event. Parents are encouraged to attend. Unfortunately, due to limited space, we are unable to include siblings at this time.
Our goal is to cater the class to each participant. Our art coordinator, Doug Haeussner, will be contacting each parent to get an idea of each child's needs, abilities, and interests. We look forward to seeing you March 30th at the Denver Museum of Art!
